Projectile Abfrage Manager

If you work with Projectile, the relevant numbers are already in the system: projects, hours, invoicing, contribution margins. Yet in many companies, reports still take the export detour: data out to Excel, joined and formatted there, then distributed. At the next reporting date, the cycle starts over.

The Abfrage Manager, Projectile’s built-in query module, removes that detour. Reports are created directly in the ERP, on current data, without copies and without stale intermediate versions.

Reports where the data lives

Project status, booked hours, invoicing and contribution margins can be queried directly and stored as reusable reports. Typical questions: which projects are over budget? Which hours are not yet invoiced? How is the contribution margin per client developing? Whatever is defined once delivers the current state on every run; the question of which Excel version is the right one simply disappears.

From requirement to finished query

I clarify with you which KPIs are needed, build the queries, test them against real data and train your team so they can adapt the queries themselves. The foundation is twofold: I have built reporting and dashboards since 2015, and as an official Projectile partner of Information Desire Software GmbH I also know the system from the product side. Who you can ask about that directly is listed under references.

Where the Abfrage Manager ends

When KPIs from several systems need to come together, or management wants a visual cockpit beyond Projectile, a Power BI dashboard is the right complement. The two do not exclude each other: the Abfrage Manager answers the operational questions inside the ERP, Power BI condenses across system boundaries.

The next step costs nothing.

30 to 60 minutes, no strings attached: where is the biggest friction, what is the most effective lever, and is a collaboration a fit?
