Custom Solutions & Apps
Sometimes no standard software closes the gap: the document has to travel from ERP to tax advisor, the booking needs an app, the internal tool exists only as Excel with macros. For these cases I build custom solutions, AI-assisted from requirements to deployment.
One product of my own backs this up: myPlace Parking, a parking app at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, where I act as both product owner and developer. A second is in development: the e-invoicing middleware between ERP systems and DATEV, demo appointment on request.
One honest caveat: I am a consultant with development practice, not a software factory. I take on custom development where it pays off and where specification and operation belong with one person; for large projects with developer teams I stay on the specification and steering side.
What this covers
- Requirements & specificationThe requirements engineering craft first: data model, business rules, interfaces, exception handling.
- Middleware & integrationsSoftware that sits between your systems and automates data flows; currently in development: the e-invoicing middleware between ERP and DATEV.
- Apps & toolsFrom booking app to internal tool; most recently myPlace Parking, an app for parking booking and management at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.
- AI-assisted developmentDevelopment with AI tooling such as Claude Code: short iterations, fast prototypes, documented code.
- Operation & handoverDeployment, monitoring, documentation; the solution stays maintainable, even without me.
- Delivery through the networkFor larger scopes with partners such as Information Desire Software GmbH; smaller solutions I build myself, AI-assisted.
How it works
- Does the case pay off? Effort against benefit, calculated honestly
- Specification: data model, rules, interfaces
- Build iteratively and test against real data, AI-assisted
- Deployment, documentation, handover
The next step costs nothing.
30 to 60 minutes, no strings attached: where is the biggest friction, what is the most effective lever, and is a collaboration a fit?
